Learning through play
The first and best way that a child learns about the world around them is through play, as set out in the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Both independently and socially, we seek to guide your child through our play-based curriculum, supporting them as they learn how to engage and interact with their fellow students and environment.
Nursery Room 0-2 Years
At Trinity Early Learning Centre we understand how important it is for your baby to be in a comfortable, warm environment where they feel safe — almost like a home away from home. Our commitment to you is that we will work tirelessly to ensure your child’s routine is followed to the letter, and we will strive to develop meaningful, respectful relationships with your baby to help them become accustomed to new people, foster in them a sense of security and make sure their transition from home to Trinity is as smooth and calm as possible.
Our program aims to provide a hands-on experience for your baby. They will be provided with a safe, clean, hygienic environment to explore and have fun within, surrounded by highly trained professional educators who are caring and passionate about providing your child with the best opportunities for growth and curiosity. We ensure all your child’s needs are met — whether social, emotional or physical — and we always make sure each child feels loved and included.
Parental Portal
We know how important it is at this age for parents to have insight into their child’s day. Our Parent Portal was designed with that in mind, providing you with the opportunity to engage with our team and get a detailed description of how your child has fared throughout the day. From your child’s daily sleep and eat chart through to the daily menu and your child’s learning progress, we take the time to keep you regularly updated with information and photos of your child’s journey. You’ll also be provided with the daily curriculum plan for your child’s room, plus we have an interactive calendar of events so you can be prepared in advance!

Toddlers Room 2-3 Years
At Trinity ELC, we know that the toddler age group is one that is full of excitement, exploration and curiosity! We believe that this is the time for your children to be able to explore safely and enthusiastically, developing skills that will help them grow their creativity and understanding of the world.
As part of our Toddler program, your child will enjoy an endless supply of play-based activities that teach them to grow their independence, learn life skills and develop new friendships — not to mention have a whole lot of fun! From a curriculum standpoint, we work with your children on phonics and early literacy development, incorporate music and movement into our daily play and provide space for your children to develop problem solving skills, spatial awareness and critical thinking. Together with their new friends and supportive educators, your toddlers will experience a fun and challenging environment that will help them grow into their own unique personality.
Junior Preschool 3-4 Years
The transition from Toddler to Pre-School can be a daunting one, so we have a special program designed to help your child adapt and get ready for the next level. Our Junior Pre-School program works by combining inquiry and play, encouraging your child to question, explain and problem solve while learning more about their own ideas and interests.
We identify their current skills and help guide each child in their development, offering learning opportunities to support them on their way. This involves a more structured learning routine, developing their literacy and numeracy skills at a foundational level so they’re ready to hit the ground running in Pre-School. We also help create new routines, to help them adapt and teach them that change isn’t always a scary thing. Through involving your child in small steps of planning and decision making, we help them develop their independence and become ready for the challenges of Pre-School.
Children are encouraged to delve deeper into their areas of interest — whether that be music, art, literacy, numeracy or even movement. We strive every day to foster a love of life-long learning.
Pre-school Room 4-5 Years
Pre-School is an incredibly important and memorable time in a child’s education, so we at Trinity draw upon national best practice to create a curriculum that incorporates all the best industry research for exceptional results.
Our educators are all university qualified and work hard to ensure that all children feel included and prepared for their eventual transition into school. We aim to create an enriched environment of learning and knowledge, with programs that help children extend their way of thinking and recognise value in understanding. Our educators are also trained to deliver the Macquarie University Pre-Lit Program, which seeks to encourage phonological awareness in the lead up to reading.
We also ensure that the time spent at Pre-School is a collaborative period for your child. They will learn to work with their peers and educators, and we check in regularly with parent-teacher meetings to make sure everyone is on the same page. Each term you will also receive an outline of the teaching outcomes that our classes will be working through, to ensure you know what’s up ahead. We know how important it is for both your child and your family to feel ready for the next step, so we work to support you in this adventure.
When it comes time to start preparing for school, we make sure all boxes are ticked. Six months before school starts, we’ll provide your child with a School Transition Statement that shows their progress and capabilities across key learning areas. Not only will this help you understand where your child is at, it will help your child’s future school in preparing for their arrival.
As part of this transition, we also include school orientation visits, lunch box weeks and uniform weeks, giving your child the preparation necessary to adapt to a school environment.
At Trinity Early Education Centre, your child will learn how to understand and appreciate the value of knowledge, the world around them, and each other. We strive to help them build the foundations for their schooling journey, and foster in them a love of learning that will carry them through.
